Ryan has been a certified athletic trainer since 2008. He earned his B.A. in Athletic Training from Rowan University and then his Master’s degree in Advanced Athletic Training from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. After his education, Ryan completed a one-year Athletic Training Fellowship with the Steadman Clinic in Vail working both in the clinic and high school settings. During that time he also provided medical coverage for the US Ski Team and Dew Tour. 

 

Ryan is a certified member of National Athletic Trainer’s Association, a certified Orthopedic Technologist, and DORA registered Surgical Assistant. He joined Dr. Sterett's team at Vail-Summit Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery in 2013. Currently, he is the Practice Coordinator for Dr. Sterett, utilizing the skills he learned during his fellowship program. He has also helped set up the academic sessions that have provided continuing education through the Vail Summit Orthopaedic Research Foundation.
